A striking pair of late 20th century marble and brass candelabra, executed in a richly patterned brecciated stone and cast brass. Likely dating to the 1970s, these sculptural pieces reflect the bold decorative language of the Hollywood Regency style, with elegant Neoclassical influences seen in their balanced proportions and scrolling arms.
Each candelabrum features a turned marble body composed of variegated brecciated stone in tones of black, brown, cream, and warm rust, creating a highly dynamic and organic surface. The contrast between the polished stone and the warm-toned brass arms adds depth and visual richness, while the three-arm configuration enhances their architectural presence.
Substantial and well-proportioned, this pair works beautifully as a statement on a dining table, console, or mantel. Their sculptural quality allows them to function equally as decorative objects when not in use.
Both pieces are in amazing vintage condition. There is a very small chip at the base of one candlestick, which is not visible when displayed (please see close-up image). This does not detract from the overall presentation.
